Property inspection made simple — v3.4.0

Add a Property

On the Properties page tap Add Property. Enter the street address, suburb, city, and an optional unit number. Hit Save Property.

Configure Property Settings

Open the property and tap ⚙️ Property Settings. Add extra rooms (Study, Pool Area, etc.), set a report email and WhatsApp number, configure a recurring inspection schedule, and record complex rules or access instructions.

Start a Check-In

Tap ＋ Check-In, enter the tenant's name, and confirm. You will see a section for each room. Tap 📸 Add in any room to take or upload photos, then add notes describing the condition.

Save Notes & Photos

After taking a photo tap ✔ Save Photo — photos are uploaded immediately to secure cloud storage. Tap 💾 Save Notes after typing notes for a room. Use ← Back to navigate — the app will warn you if you have unsaved photos.

Attach the Signed Lease

At the bottom of a check-in tap 📎 Attach Signed Lease to upload the lease agreement (PDF or image). It is stored securely and linked to the inspection.

Finalise the Check-In

When all photos and notes are done tap ✔ Finalise Check-In. The inspection is locked as complete and the property shows as Occupied.

Start a Check-Out

When the tenant leaves tap ＋ Check-Out. Photos are shown side-by-side with the original check-in photos so damage is immediately visible. Add checkout photos and notes per room, then tap ✔ Finalise Check-Out.

Send the Inspection Report

On any completed inspection scroll to the bottom and tap ✉️ Email Report or 💬 WhatsApp Report. The full report — all rooms, notes, and photo links — is composed automatically and opened in your mail or WhatsApp app ready to send.

💡 Tip: Draft inspections can be deleted from the inspection list by tapping the 🗑 icon. Completed inspections are permanent records and cannot be deleted.
💡 Tip: Extra rooms added in Property Settings (e.g. Study, Storeroom) automatically appear in every new inspection created after saving them.
